World Peace Forum 23-28 June 2006
The Rights & Democracy Delegation at McGill University is holding an event at the World Peace Forum, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to be held on June 23-28, 2006. The Delegation will be presenting a workshop on the building of the project “Let’s teach human rights”. The event will be held next June 27, from 2:30 to 3:30, in the Scarfe and Social Works Building on the campus of the British Colombia University. The World Peace Forum 2006 is a great opportunity for the Delegation to share the successes of the first two years of the project and to allow others to realize similar initiatives on how to empower teachers in human and child rights through youth panels, workshops and networking. Therefore, next June 27, the Delegation presents a workshop, based on a participatory approach, giving the participants tools to adapt and conduct similar initiatives in their own academic communities.
