Message from the President of Rights & Democracy

Many of you have contributed to the creation of our network of Delegations on university campuses across Canada. And though the outcome of this venture was uncertain, your efforts have proven successful to say the least.

This network now counts more than 40 groups in Canada, and we are currently planning to twin each of them with Delegations in the so-called developing world.

Together we are creating an unparalleled global platform for youth to share knowledge, to initiate discussions and partnerships and to take action. The Network is proud to share:

the urgent goal of promoting and protecting human rights;
an open and growing space on the Web; and
your projects, which are the embodiment of what we want to accomplish—and can accomplish—together.

Be bold, demanding and concrete. You hold the potential and drive for change in this new century.
