During The 2nd World Congress Against the Death Penalty, which will take place in Montreal from October 6-9, 2004, the Rights & Democracy Network supports its Sherbrooke University Delegation in the preparation of the Student Forum.

Goals and objectives :

To encourage students to reflect the issues surrounding the death penalty,
To write and adopt a Solemn Declaration stating the position of students from around the world,
To encourage decision makers to fight against the death penalty and seek to abolish it

As students from all over the world, you can do something about it !
You're invited to the Student Forum, that will be held on Thursday October 7th at 5 pm in Place des Arts, and it is FREE !
The best papers or pleas will be chosen by a jury and will be presented orally. Their authors are invited to participate in the Students' Forum.
