Human Rights in Zimbabwe: A Panel Discussion

You are invited by the Rights & Democracy Network Delegation at McGill to attend a panel discussion about human rights in Zimbabwe. Panelists will include Zuwa Matondo, Zimbabwean Law Student at McGill, Dr. John Galaty, Department of Anthropology, McGill, Dr. Frédéric Mégret, International Human Rights Law, McGill, and Karim Laz, Africa regional officer at Rights & Democracy.
In addition to presenting both personal and professional approaches to the human rights violations afflicting Zimbabwe, panelists will discuss and debate concerns regarding political leadership, action of the international community, and possibilities for reform.
This event will take place at Moot Court (3644 Peel Street) on Friday, March 19 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
A light luncheon will follow.
