Youth and Democracy: the OAS and Civil Society in Medellin, Colombia

From June 1 to 3, 2008, the Organization of American States will hold its 38th annual general assembly in Medellin, Colombia, with a focus on youth and democracy. Rights & Democracy is supporting a series of public events and workshops in Medellin just prior to the general assembly to help engage youth in democratic processes, the promotion of non-violence and peacebuilding activities.
