The Rights & Democracy Network is organizing a retreat in Montreal from September 25 to 28, 2008.Interested students can submit their candidature by September 12, this year's deadline.

Rights & Democracy is supporting the participation of three Jordanian youth activists from our partner institution, the Princess Basma Youth Resource Center (PBYRC), in the 4th World Youth Congress in Québec City from August 10 to 21, 2008.

Rights & Democracy is pleased to announce the appointment of Rémy M. Beauregard as the organization’s new President.

Representatives from the Network are invited to participate in youth engagement activities related to Organization of American States in Medellin, Colombia.

The Quebec's Women Federation, The Rights & Democracy Network and supporting organizations In solidarity with Lanna Action for Burma launched the Campaign on May 27th.

At the Rights & Democracy Network’s 5^th Anniversary Gala, which took place on May 1, 2008, five Delegation projects from the last five years were honoured with Awards of Recognition.

The Rights & Democracy Network will be celebrating its 5th anniversary this year with a very special National Event. To be held this year from May 1 to 4, 2008 in Montreal, this annual event will be held during the On the Refugee Path project (Sur la piste des réfugiés), presented this year by the UQAM Delegation.

The Université Laval Delegation organizes another On the Refugee Trail project, to be held on campus April 4 and 5, in Quebec City.
